Unfortunately, I am no longer on the Scrapsketch Creative Team. I took a little bit of time off to take care of a few things, and now I just don't really have a lot of extra time to devote to it. I loved working with Stephanie and the other Team Members, and wish the site the best of luck. Thanks for the opportunity Stephanie!
I am going to keep this blog updated with not only scrapbook layouts, but also other crafts and even recipes. Thanks to those who have visited! -Kaitlyn

Creative Team Submissions
I never posted my submissions for the Scrapsketch Creative Team, so I thought I would post them now. I was so excited when I found Scrapsketch because I use sketches almost every time I scrapbook. I was even more excited when I found out they were taking submissions for a Creative Team. I haven't ever submitted anything before, so I wasn't really expecting to get picked. I was really happy though when I did get picked! It's been so fun working with Stephanie's great sketches and seeing the other team members great work.
I finished these first 2 pages in one night and that never happens! I was so inspired by the sketches and these pages came together so quickly.
This page was a little harder for me because it was a 2 page layout, but I was happy to get these cute pictures scrapped of my oldest learning how to ski.

Scrapsketch #95 and 100
Scrapsketch has posted their 100th sketch! I love Stephanie's sketches and I am really happy to be on her Creative Team!I had been wanting to scrapbook this picture of some friends and I when we got together to watch Twilight, and this sketch was perfect for that.
This page is one of those that came to together so easily and I love, love, love when that happens! Sometimes I just get stuck when doing a page and it can be so frustrating. I love the sketch, the colors and of course the cute pictures!
I used my Fiskars "Threading Water" punch to make the scalloped edges around the cardstock, and I also added a few of my favorite butterflies because I just couldn't help myself!

I don't know why, but I have a really hard time with 2 page layouts. Does anyone else have a hard time too? Please tell me I am not the only one!
I distressed the edges of the cardstock and the patterned paper to give it some texture. I love my Heidi Swapp edge distresser and use it a lot. It's easy to use and I love the way it makes my pages look. I also added a few butterflies to this page, and they seem to be showing up on a lot of my pages lately.
I didn't use any special techniques on this page, but I did handcut the floral stem out with my exacto knife. It didn't take too long, but my hand did hurt a little afterwards!

Scrapsketch #72 and 73
I was actually in Colorado when I did these pages, and it was kind of interesting to get these done. My mother in-law has tons of great supplies, but it was just weird being away from my scrapbook table where I know where everything is. I did have fun however using some of her Cricut cartridges that I don't have.
Supplies: Patterned Paper - WR Memory Keepers, Cardstock - DCWV, Title - Cricut "Doodletype", Other - ribbon and buttons
Supplies: Patterned Paper - Kaiser Scrapbook, Cardstock - DCWV, Title - Cricut "Tear Drop", Ribbon - Amercian Crafts

Scrap Sketch #62
I don't know why, but I had a hard time with this page. I just finished a mini album for a family member and I think it sucked me dry of all my creative juices for a while. I do like the color combination and the patterned paper was really fun. I think I might actually go buy more!
Supplies used:
Patterned paper: Heidi Swapp - Cardstock:Bazzill - Title and heart: Cricut (All mixed up) - scallop punch: Fiskars Threading Water
